| The success for Aalborg Engineering continues in Turkey |

After receiving two new orders at a total value of 200 million DKK Aalborg Engineering once again states itself as a recognized boiler vendor at the Turkish energy market.
This time it is the Turkish refinery group Tüpras, the largest in Turkey, who now shown their confidence in Aalborg Engineering’s approach to an optimized energy production.
The order consists of two new Heat Recovery Heat Steam Generators for their new refinery extension in the city of Izmit, which is situated approximately 80 km east of Istanbul. The project is a part of a total investment of 2-3 billion DKK and has been given as an order through the Spanish turnkey contractor Tecnica Reunidas.The project is, as Aalborg Engineering, going against the present crisis trends characterising the market at the moment - not many projects of this size are starting up.
Besides this order, we have received another order at the same address in Izmit – however on the old power plant – for an replacement of an existing boiler plant with a brand new boiler to optimise the energy efficient of the plant. In the process of finding the optimal solution for the new power plan it was realised that the same philosophy could be used on the old power plant. “It is highly satisfactory that Aalborg Engineering has products which meet the demands of better energy economy from the energy heavy industry.” Sales Director Bent Have Johnsen says.
Through the past ten years Aalborg Engineering has been focusing on the Turkish market and has through its segment achieved a market leading position and a yearly sale in the amount of approximately 100-200 million DKK. The sales which is done in cooperation with our sales agent in Turkey Mr. Søren Kruse, has been part of a long- term sales and market strategy. “Aalborg Engineering has obtained its unique market position based on a profile which makes it possible to create optimal energy efficient solutions and definitely also based on the credibility in completing the projects” Mr. Søren Kruse says and he continues “Aalborg Engineering’s boilers are known and respected in the Turkish marked, this respect is a result of the skilled technicians in the company. Finally it must be mentioned that EKF has been a great help in connection with financing the many boiler plant projects” Søren Kruse ends.
CEO Mr. Peter Overgaard says that these projects will help us to obtain a steady period over the next couple of years and they will contribute significantly to the continuing growth of the company. Our primary market will still be the European and the Middle East, and we will have to keep up our good work in order to keep the good and interesting market as Turkey.
