Process heat recovery has always been worth considering when the heat has a certain temperature

and flow. That is why the company Finnfjord, Finnsnes in Norway decided to build a heat recovery

facility for their three FeSi furnaces. Aalborg Engineering has designed two SteamGenTM 10 HRSGs

for this application. The combination of high temperature of flue gas, large variations and dust content

made the task complex but with a conservative design and rigid construction a solution is now

ready.
