In 2001 Aalborg Engineering signed a contract with the Arab Potash Company for replacement of one of their O-type boilers on the Safi plant in Jordan. The contract covered design, procurement, production, erection and commissioning of a complete pressure part with various equipment. To minimise the outage time the boiler was assembled adjacent to the running boiler and fully replaced in 28 days. Project data:
