Space is a limitation in many indoor Combined Heat and Power Plants. This was also the case in Plovdiv. The smart solution var to place the HRSG on top of the gas turbine. As the end user EVN,the contractor Siemens Sweden and Aalborg Engineering could accept the arragement this became the logic for this project.Teh SteamGen 8 was selected and with its water cooled combustion chamber the capacity was reaced without any limits of the desing.

All equipment is purchased in various countries by Aalborg Engineering and the erection work is carried out by a subcontracted Turkish company.
