In June 2002 Aalborg Engineering signed a contract with the Danish energy production and energy trading company Energi E2 to supply a HRSG for H.C. Ørsted Power Plant in Copenhagen.

The contract covers design, procurement, production, erection and commissioning of a supplementary fired HRSG. The boiler layout and plant design is customised to fit into an existing building.

The HRSG will produce superheated steam and hot water for the Copenhagen district heating system.
