Aalborg Engineering has handed over the two special designed Waste Heat Recovery boilers utilizing waste energy from 3 ferrosilicon furnaces at Finnfjord in Northern Norway.

After a long and busy period, due to the large amount of new incoming orders in 2011, we are now ready to deal with new challenges, and it is therefore gratifying to receive a new order from Germany, CEO Peter Overgaard says.

After receiving two new orders at a total value of 200 million DKK Aalborg Engineering once again states itself as a recognized boiler vendor at the Turkish energy market.
With the new orders Aalborg Engineering has achieved a sale to Turkey on approximately 350 million DKK over the past twelve month.

Aalborg Engineering has been honoured with DI (Danish Industry) Aalborg Initiative Award 2011.

With this award we are hailed for enterprise, creative and our drive to create among small and medium sizes companies in the membership of DI.

On the 20 September, His Royal Highness Prince Henrik presented Aalborg Engineering with the award "Kong Frederik den Niendes Hæderspris" for outstanding services to Danish exports.

Aalborg Engineering is close to be fully booked for year 2012.

The result of the first half year for the boiler company Aalborg Engineering does fully meet the expectations from the management's side for the sustained growth. The result before tax is around 6 million DKK against a deficit in the first half year of 2010 of 5 million DKK.
